Lupines in June . . . you're in Lubec, baby!


This place explodes in color from these "weeds" that line the roads in our sliice of paradise. When I see them I know it is time for the new vacation season in my beloved town. Since I first laid eyes on it from a search of Google Earth in 2016, I knew I would live here someday near the ocean where the snow even smells like the sea. But Spring? Spring blooms here by the sea with soothing temperatures while south of Maine June begins to blister into summer. Come feel it. See it. Breathe easily here. It's Maine by the ocean in June.
